Lauren is an all-star track athlete who will be training for the Olympic trials in high-jump this summer. She is also an expert gymnast, runner, and power-weights lifter.
Fitness model Katie D went for it with a sprint on the beach in Kauai, and we’re loving the inspirational words lining up alongside her. It’s a pretty sweet campaign:

Katie is a runner and an avid soccer player who also can lift some serious weights. This was her first Athleta booking, and we couldn’t be more proud! Way to go, Katie!

Danielle H, seen above, is a pro on the volleyball court and — as you might be able to tell from those triceps — rocks the shot put, among a long list of other track and field events.
Drisana is also a personal trainer, track and field athlete, and cyclist–there’s really not much that the lady can’t do.

Corinne G , seen above, is our girl for all things water–whether it’s freestyle, snorkeling, jet skiing or surfing, this native Hawaiian has it handled.

Women’s fitness apparel company Athletarecently released this inspiring video featuring SLU fitness models Corinne G, Drisana C, Monica C, Lauren C, Danielle H and Katie D. The shoot took place over multiple days and locations, including beautiful Belize and Kauai, HI. For fitness model Katie D it was a first-time booking with the iconic company! Congrats, girl! “It was amazing!” she says of the experience, “the shoot went really well, and the cast and crew had a lot of fun together. It was also my first time to Hawaii!” You can see her in the first shot of the video, running her heart out on the gorgeous North Shore. Check back in on Friday for a sampling of the final prints!

Seattle model Corey W was recently featured on the innovative Ben Trovato fashion blog, an online showcase that highlights “the works of some of the most promising talents in fashion photography.” Photographer Kyle Goldie and stylist Gabriel Aguayo worked with Corey to create Mutiny, a fashion editorial inspired by the sea captains of 1930’s Alaska. In a park outside Seattle, rugged landscapes and chilly waters set the tone for each shot—but even near-freezing temperatures couldn’t stop the model and crew from having fun. As our Seattle model noted, there was plenty of reason to stay positive. “The chemistry between the crew and photographer was phenomenal,” says Corey of the friendly attitudes and smiling faces. “Plus, we got some really hilarious looks! People came out all bundled up, only to see this bearded man being photographed in his underwear.” Yeah, that might draw some attention. Here’s just a sampling of the gorgeous spread:

Lifestyle model Chad P traveled to the Colorado Rockies this last month for a photo shoot with none other than LL Bean! Part outdoor adventure, part winter-cabin cozy, the shoot showcased skis, sleds, winter wear and everything in between for their latest Winter Gear Catalog. The cast and crew traveled to Breckenridge and Cooper Mountain, starting each day at 4:30 am so they could snowmobile to the otherwise inaccessible location. Says the lifestyle model, who’s done everything from the cover of Runner’s World to beach shoots with Jockey, “There were some long days, but it was well worth it. I mean, we got to spend our time basically playing in the snow in some of the most beautiful parts of the country!” Here’s a sampling of the results:

One of our newest fitness models, Kylie L, brought Brazil’s very own Carnival to Nike campus, modeling a dress flown all the way from Rio and actually used for the famous festival. “It took 30 minutes just to get me fully dressed with an entourage of 4 people helping,” says the good-natured fit model. We can see why!

“The hardest part was simply standing for those few hours–the dress was so heavy!” Kylie exclaims. But stand she did, and her positive attitude never faltered. “I felt like a princess,” says the fit model with a smile.
